Ask an Expert: All About Internet Law [Q&A]

Hi everyone, I’m Derek Bambauer. I’m an associate professor of law at the University of Arizona, where I teach about internet law and intellectual property. My current research focuses on censorship, cybersecurity, and intellectual property—you can read more about it here. Previously, I was a principle systems engineer at Lotus Development Corp., and I spent two years as a research fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School. There, I was part of the OpenNet Initiative, which tested and studied censorship in countries such as China, Iran, and Vietnam. Have questions about any of this stuff? I’m here for the next hour—ask away! More »
